Brenda Blasingame is a co-founder of Interconnected Alchemy and founder of Vav Amani Consulting, LLC during her professional career, she has focused on systems change efforts addressing issues that most impact the lives of children, families and communities marginalized by racial injustices and social inequities. Brenda brings over three decades of experience working on public health issues and has worked across issue areas and sectors at the executive (Founding Executive Director Contra Costa County First Five and HealthConnect One) and senior management level (Director of Programs for Thrive by Five Washington and Senior Director Programs and Partnerships for Save the Children). Brenda’s experience spans working in three sectors: non-profit, government/public and philanthropy at the local, state and national levels.

Karen Howard, co-founder of Interconnected Alchemy and founder of Crossover Partners, LLC, provides policy analysis, advocacy advice, and strategic support to nonprofits and coalitions. With over 20 years of experience in legal, policy, and advocacy arenas, Karen has worked as policy director at the Alliance for Early Success and vice president of early childhood policy at First Focus on Children. She was instrumental in creating and enacting the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program (MIECHV), a multi-billion-dollar grant program supporting national home visiting programs.

Dawn Holden Woods, co-founder of Interconnected Alchemy and President of Generative Consulting Partners, is committed to co-creating effective operational and leadership programs for individuals and teams and serves as a trusted advisor for private foundations, social impact organizations, and governmental agencies. Dawn previously served as the Chief Social Services Officer of Public Health Management Corporation and the Chief Executive Officer of Turning Points for Children, where she was responsible for managing a $100M portfolio including a team of 1,000 employees. Through her leadership, Turning Points for Children grew from a small enterprise valued at $10M to a complex organization with five business lines totaling over $60M.

TL, co-founder of Interconnected Alchemy and founder of Capacity Allies, LLC,  is a systems change consultant with diverse experience in developing, assessing, and expanding programs and initiatives that center children, families and communities furthest from opportunity. As the former Director of Prenatal to Three Capacity-Building Hub at the BUILD Initiative, TL oversaw the provision of capacity support to 20 state and 11 community grantees funded by the Pritzker Children’s Initiative. Previously, TL served as the Deputy Director of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau for the state of Maryland, where she was involved in providing direct support and guidance to state staff and local health departments on implementing statewide and community specific programs designed to combat maternal and child health disparities.

Ronda Alexander is a collaborative leader dedicated to working with diverse communities as they align and leverage their resources towards transformational initiatives and goals. She is a founding member of Interconnected Alchemy, and currently serves as the Director of Operations. In her work Ronda combines her love of travel and learning about diverse cultures to successfully lead across multiple communities in cities nationwide. She also lends her facilitation skills to cross-sector school district teams, including business and community partners, working to create career-themed pathways for students.  Whether at work or in her community roles she  is committed to engaging communities and stakeholders in ways that allow them to achieve their highest vision of themselves.
